Hi, I’m Amy — the baker behind Mummy Bear Cakes. Based in Lincolnshire, I spend most of my time covered in chocolate, testing new flavours, and filling the shed with brownies, blondies, cookies, celebration cakes and all the good stuff.

Baking has always been a huge part of my life. It all started in my nan’s kitchen, where I learned that simple ingredients, a homemade cake and a bit of love could turn into something really special. She was always baking for birthdays, family gatherings and celebrations, and I loved being part of it all. Watching her create cakes that brought everyone together is what first made me fall in love with baking, and in so many ways I feel like I’m following in her footsteps now.

When I became a mum to my two daughters, I started making their birthday cakes myself, wanting to create those same memories and traditions for them. What began as “just giving it a go” quickly turned into a real passion, and before long I found myself completely obsessed with celebration cakes, traybakes, brownies and creating new flavours.
